I wish I could get this done, but because of my dental bills, I can't afford it. Perhaps if he makes a swingaround again, I'll be ready. But that's a big perhaps.

Nice, Conan in HD. Will SNL be funnier in HD? I sincerely doubt it.

Gotta love political fun. All because of Janet Jackson's nipple...
Remember when Schindler's List was on a couple of years ago, and a congressman or congresswoman denounced it only to get TROUNCED by the general public. I reckon if anyone put up a stink about this movie, the same public would lay it into them.

I wonder how the TNT broadcast will be come December... Something tells me they'll keep it in scope.

So, is tonight's FOX broadcast just 480i Widescreen? Players seems washed out and all upconverted...

Is ESPN broadcasting the LA/STL game in HD, or just boring ol' SD?
I just checked checkhd.com, and FOX will be broadcasting tonight's Yankees/Twins game in HD, so I think we can safely assume WXXA will have the feed.

I just hope that can resolve this as not to distract from probably one of the biggest games of our time. I wouldn't mind though if the audio cut out every time Mccarver started to speak..... ;D I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing these problems. May I ask what boxes you guys had while watching the game? I've been having the problem the past 4 nights, and it's on all DIGITAL channels, not just the HD ones. It gets so bad, I have to switch to the SD broadcasts...

Does anyone know if the upcoming debates will be broadcast in HD??? I was wondering if perhaps INHD might show them since they had the covered the conventions. Does anyone know anything on this issue??? I looked at HDNet and INHDs schedules, and it doesn't look like they'll broadcast it in HD. And I doubt the news organizations would, either...

To be fair, HDTV is still a new technology, and I'm sure converting control rooms and having numerous control rooms HDTV compatible is rather expensive. To have a ton of HDTV compatible outlets that only a fraction of the populous can even view it rather costly.
That said, The Ryder Cup SHOULD HAVE been in HDTV. Same with The Yaqks/Red Sox, but the excuse might have been their HDTV crews were at all the football games (Good job out of FOX making all of their games HDTV).
ESPN and ABC only had 2 games in HD this weekend (Michigan State/Notre Dame and the Dolphins/Bengals last night). You'd think they'd have the control room capability that FOX seems to have.
Wasn't CBS the first network to broadcast in HD? Why only a select few games in HD?

Oy... I was thinking about this during the drive in. Technically, the broadcast tonight isn't the same broadcast. It's one thing if SD NESN was blacked out in favor of SD Yes. However, there isn't a companion for HD NESN and is technically not the same broadcast. I could understand this blackout if There were other HD channels that could broadcast this, but there isn't and we're getting screwed out of it.

I believe YES does not have an HD feed, even for NYC. I keep reading over at the AVS Forum that YES will be launching HD next season. The question than would be when or if TWC carries it. My guess is that they probably won't carry it, or just place it in the HD Tier and raise the HD Tier price. I'm going to guess Sportschannel... I mean Fox Sports NY (Anyone ever do that?) and MSG might have to follow suit. They broadcast in HD down in NYC, right?

I meant in terms of blackout by the YES Network. That stinks, especially since it's a road game.
BTW, does YES have an HD Feed anywhere in the NYC Metro area?

The September 24 - 26 games will all be on INHD, but we are forced to watch the games on SD YES. Doesn't this just make you want to scream? It would be so great to watch all three games in HD on INHD. Has this been confirmed? Isn't FOX showing one of the games on Saturday? Would they broadcast it in HD? Yankees suck!

Note: NFL.com does not have a Sunday Night game listed for week 7, ESPN’s website has nothing scheduled for the timeslot. According to Joe Theismann, they are taking the week off to make way for the World Series and not compete with them. If the series goes to Game 7, there will be a Sunday Night Football game. Expect a Thursday night game to make up for this omission soon.
