Called TWC and asked them to connect me to Chris in Cable Card support. She made me go through the process of phone number, last 4 SSN, etc. Then, she asked me what the problem was and I told her that I cannot tune channels 1730 and 1734 on my TiVos with cable cards and tuning adapters. She tried to resolve my problem by putting me on hold and speaking to someone else. When she came back on, she said they "reset" my cable cards and asked me to try and tune the channels. Neither channel came in and she then wanted to set up an appointment and roll a truck to check it out.
I told her that a truck roll would not fix the problem and I just wanted to speak to Chris in the Cable Card support section. She couldn't find Chris' extension in the notes on my account. As she was looking, I went out to my vehicle and found Chris' extension where I wrote it on the back of one of my business cards. (x135-1473) She attempted to transfer me to that extension and proceeded to disconnect me. Over 15 minutes with her for NOTHING!
I called back and finally got someone to transfer me to his extension. I was only able to leave a voicemail.
I'll let you know how it turns out when/if I get a return call.
