I have to say, I find myself watching STARZ-HD, MAX-HD, ENCORE-HD and TMC-HD all the time. I don't know if it's my personal tastes, or when I happen to watch, but those channels are often what I am watching. While the INHDs and HDnets have movies, the premium movie channels have GOOD movies, there's a big difference.
I definately watch them more than ESPN-HD.

Sports programming is the #1 rated programming out there, thats why it costs the most. I dont see any other Premium channel being offered on TWC anytime soon. Voom looks to be caving in, they are not doing that well either it seem. While I dont have Voom, I do not want to see them go, hate to lose anything that can help us get more HD!

I agree that VOOM is not doing so well in the PR department. But, being one the few who have it, IT'S LIKE CRACK, I'M SO ADDICTED. I will hang on for dear life until the bitter end of VOOM if that's what it comes to. I would really hate to go from 42 HD channels down to 13. (With a comparable monthly bill.)

What little I did watch of Sunday night's NFL game on ESPN HD (8/19/04) had great picture quality.
I didn't get a chance to watch Sportcenter in HD to see if they had all the highlights in HD from the other networks. (CBS & FOX)

(CBS & FOX) ESPN HD's picture quality is similar to ABC's, which are both great, IMHO. Probably because of the 720p standard and the fact that they are both owned by Disney. They did have the highlights in HD. I noticed this last week when they had highlights from the Red Sox/Devil Rays game. If the game was broacast in HD, they'll have the highlights in HD.
