I would like to say "you're welcome" to everyone who appreciates WRGB finally coming on board with TW. The reason this happened is that I just paid $90 for a new outdoor antenna and will pay another $90 to have it installed. I did this primarily so I could achieve a good picture OTA for channel 6. I guess if I pay a little more, maybe WEWB will also agree to broadcast on TW.

I wrote a week ago about problems I was having receiving OTA 6-1.I live in Niskayuna I have an indoor antenna which works fine but over the past week I have had numerous problems receiving 6-1. I attributed it to the weather. However, if other people are having problems, could the problem actually be with WRGB?

Can you explain why this is good. What exactly are they changing and what will be the effects?

MasterFX1, I agree. I feel like I am now getting 2 less stations for the same price as I was getting before. That being said, I kept track of how often I watched INHD, INHD2, HDnet, HDnet Movies and ESPN-HD during the "free" time period. The answer was not much. Other than ESPN-HD I virtually watched the other stations for only brief periods when I was channel surfing. As for ESPN-HD, the network only shows a few HD offering per week. Frankly, I can live with ESPN SD until ESPN has a greater selection of HD offerings. In the general scheme of things $4 per month for these stations is absolutely nothing. However, until ESPN gives me something worth $4 per month, I'll hang onto my money

Raleigh Time Warner is ofering HD Suite(ESPN HD, INHD, INHD2, HDNet and HDNet Movies) for $6.95 per month. I think it's safe to assume Albany TW will be offering the same.

I want ESPN HD as much as anyone.I also think everyone is going to disagree with me but here's my opinion about TWC adding ESPN HD and putting it in a package for $6.95. I am currently paying about $110 per month for TW Roadrunner and Digital Cable. For this I'm getting INDH and INDH2 included.I am not getting HDNET and HDNET Movies. Now if this package is the case I am either going to be paying the same and LOSE 2 stations or pay $6.95 more and get 2 stations I was already getting and ESPN HD while I'm already getting ESPN SD. Is TWC going to charge us more when ESPN2 comes on board? Or are they going to put ESPN2 in a package with TNT and the DVR? Where does it stop?If the cable companies are going to force us to buy packages they should also allow us to get rid of stations which we don't watch. Just a little venting.

The picture on these shows appear to be stretched. I would think these shows were not originally telecast in HD.

Ken, You're right. when I change the channel the message is gone. However, the picture I get is poor. The colors are mainly pink and blue . Is there an adjustment that I'm missing?

I have a Hitachi 50v500 TV. It has a dvi port on the back. When I hook up my 8000hd to the tv using a dvi cable, I get a message that the tv does not support HDCP. What am I doing wrong?
