For several years now I've been recording programs using a QAM tuner card in my PC. As of today when I went to record something I'm not seeing 18-8, 18-10, 18-13 as available using Time Warner's direct cable feed. In fact, when I scan 104 and 105 nothing is being detected. Anyone know what's going on? Did stuff move around (I hope)? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Update - I can scan 104, which gives me 18-6 and 18-11 (CBS and PBS) but nothing on 105 which previously contained the rest of the broadcast channels.

Whew - found the channels on 102. Hopefully this helps anyone else who finds their channels missing. Interesting that they moved from 105 to 102, wonder why?

To annoy people with QAM tuners so that they'll go and rent a STB?

I just had my TV rescan all the digital channels and the only HD ones I can watch are CBS (18-6) and PBS (18-11). Fox (18-8), ABC (18-10), NBC (18-13) and CW (18-15) are picked up as channels but there is no picture when I try to watch them. I also found a lot of digital channels being picked up by the tuner but with no picture.
Is this Time Warner trying to get us to rent cable boxes? I hate the idea of not using the tuner in my TV.

On my CC tv's I am not receiving 1808 (fox), 1810 (ABC) and 1813 (NBC). One of my TiVo HD units had the same problem. I rebooted the TiVo and the channels re-appreared. Interestingly, my other TiVo HD unit did not have this problem. This issue is most likely associated with TWC changing the QAM channel assignments, as UsualNoise descibed above.

I had my TV rescan all the digital channels and it located channels but there was no signal on them. Then later there was a signal on some but it kept pixelating / breaking up.

I haven't watched live tv on my TiVo since this issue started, but I did watch recorded American Idol (WXXA:FOX) shows from Tuesday and Wednesday last night and did not see any picture quality issues.
Are there still picture quality/location issues with QAM receivers?

I've noticed on my TivoHD that Fox (1808) seems "grainy". Especially on New Amsterdam and Canterbury's Law. I'm not sure if it's Fox (are they "really" 720p or do they film and upconvert?) or the TivoHD?

I still don't have my channels. All I have at present are CBS and PBS. Before 1 Apr I had no trouble picking up the broadcast networks in HD over TW. My TV doesn't have a cable card. Does this mean that I now have to break down and get a cable box from them?
