Look for Multi Room soon. That version supports it, but you will likely need new hardware as in a MoCa enabled Cisco 8642HDC.

No word on how they will structure it, but in Charlotte they were offering it as "Signature Home" for $179 where it's an advanced version of the All The Best package, but you get 2 8642 DVR's (each with 500GB drives) and are bumped to wideband Roadrunner @ 50Mbps.
I'm hoping they allow for client boxes so I can use a non-DVR in a bedroom and watch content off my theather room DVR. We will have to wait and see. The good news is that the software supports it, so they can deploy the service when ready.

Is anyone else in your division with an 8640 DVR on ODN Navigator version 4.0.2_4? We were finally bumped to 3.2 last week and it fixed the HDMI issues, but then they bumped us to ODN 4.0 two day later which was suppose to give us a speed bump. All it did was cause issues for me. No noticeably speed bump in the guide and now on all SD channels the guide is horribly stretched out.

Behaves the same as 3.2, just faster.

How is Navigator performing out in Albany since the update to 4.0.2_4? This last update has been a DISASTER here.
The box now has a guide stretch bug, misses recordings, refuses to set up series recordings, has audio stutter on some (the 4640), is slower than ever.
Just wondering because other divisions are reporting that the last update is performing well.

Just an update - Navigator 5.0.0_6 has been deployed in CNY and the 8642HDC now has Keyword Search.

I have had numerous problems with the new systems, have had to go through two cable boxes because they broke. One where the DVR stopped working and deleted all my past recordings. The other where I would have to restart my box every other time I turned it on because the screen had a blue tint on it.
