From the Albany Time Warner Cable website. Sunday's NFL conference championship games determine which two teams advance to Super Bowl XXXIX, and Time Warner Cable has both games -- in high definition![/b] Time Warner Cable of Albany announces that the AFC Championship Game between the New England Patriots and the Pittsburgh Steelers will be shown Sunday evening in HD on channel 1801 as well as on channel 6. CBS 6 (WRGB) and Time Warner Cable have reached an agreement for carriage of CBS 6's HD programming, which initially will be available on Time Warner Cable 1801 and will move to channel 1806. Fox has the NFC Championship Game, and Time Warner Cable has been telecasting HD programming from WXXA for quite some time. The Atlanta Falcons at Philadelphia Eagles game is on channel 1808 in HD as well as on channel 8. The Super Bowl will be telecast in HD on channel 1808 on Feb. 6 from Jacksonville, Fla. We have more than a dozen high-definition channels, and more are being added all the time.

Pinch me. Please, pinch me. Why does it have to be on 1801 first before transferring to 1806? What's up with that? Now let's move on to ESPN2!!!

Why does it have to be on 1801 first before transferring to 1806? What's up with that? This is only an educated guess, but I imagine they have to set up the guide data for channel 1806 and perform an update to the many STB's they have out there...?

Just seemed odd. But I'm not complaining. Now that Sinclair has fallen suit, do you think Tribune is far behind and we could see WEWB on the Lineup within, say, the next month?

I would like to say "you're welcome" to everyone who appreciates WRGB finally coming on board with TW. The reason this happened is that I just paid $90 for a new outdoor antenna and will pay another $90 to have it installed. I did this primarily so I could achieve a good picture OTA for channel 6. I guess if I pay a little more, maybe WEWB will also agree to broadcast on TW.

This is great news... I'd held out purchasing an HD tuner for the last six months in the hopes this would happen sooner rather than later. Looks like we're all in luck.

But I'm greedy, I want all of the channels on TWC, and soon. Anyone know how many HDTV channels TWC can add before they have to either power down some of them for bandwidth reasons or have to remove some SDTV channels to fit them in?

I can think of about 150 channels on twc that I don't watch . They could get rid of all the analog channels and just give me 40 hdtv channels and I would be happy .
