If you would like to be notified via email when new posts are entered on topics you are interested in, I've listed the steps to set this up below: - Go to your PROFILE settings by clicking the PROFILE link in the menu bar at the top of the page.
- On the VIEW PROFILE page, click BOOKMARKS at the top, next to the Member's Bio header.
- On the BOOKMARKS page, click the MANAGE BOOKMARKS link on the right side of the page
- Change the drop down menu for default notification when a new post is made to "EMAIL". Alternatively, you can select "PERSONAL MESSAGE" (PM).
- Click on the "UPDATE BOOKMARKS AND PREFERENCES" button.
Once you have your default notification method set up, you can click the icon under each thread's title to automatically receive an email when a new post is made to that thread. You can unsubscribe to notifications at any time by going to the PROFILE >> BOOKMARKS >> MANAGE BOOKMARKS.

This is apparently no longer working. I add a bookmard and then follow the steps above, but once try to save settings it tells me that I have no bookmarks. Isn't there a way to set the thread to auto subscribe when you post a reply like vBulletin?

If you go to Profile>Bookmarks>Manage Bookmarks, does it have email listed as your notification preference?
There is no auto-subscribe preference on Pro Boards. Sorry.

Yup, it has email but it just doen't seem to add the threads when I click on subscribe. It's not that big a deal as I check in once a day anyhow. Just wanted to bring it up in case it was some issue that could be fixed.
