Does anyone know why WNYT was broadcasting only in SD on Friday night? Did the station simply forget to hit a switch? If so, is there a number we can call to get them off their a**?

See this thread: What to do when a HDTV program is not in HD. Just watched the recording of Third Watch from Friday 12/3/04. It was not in HD. Is this the show you were talking about? |

I'm not sure but they (WNYT) may be having some problems. I was just flipping channels on Friday afternoon at 1:00 pm and Friday night's episode of Third Watch was being broadcast on 13-1 OTA. It was on for about 10 minutes in HD (1080i). I was kind of surprised to see it on at that time and at about 1:10 they switched back to whatever soap is on at that time of the day. It sould also be noted that Medical Investigations which is on right after Third Watch at 10:00 pm was also broadcast in SD as well.
