From what I've read here, WEWB is only transmitting at partial strength. Does anyone have any info as to if/when the station will increase its signal?

According to a reputable and distinguished source at WB45... WEWB-DT is still broadcasting at reduced power. They currently have no information as to when they will increase the power.

You are correct, WEWB is currently broadcasting at low power. The station can not increase power due to an interference issue with WSAH in Connecticut. An agreement on this interference issue has been reached and WEWB has filed with the FCC for permission to move to full power. The expectation is that this matter will be resolved soon but we are at the mercy of the FCC.

To let users know, Franco is the Chief Engineer for WEWB.
Franco, so glad to see another Chief Engineer posting here! As I said to Skeeter:
"I imagine you've been lurking for a while, but I applaud your decision to post and face the (often confrontational) public.
Other local Chief Engineers are monitoring AlbanyHDTV.com as well as my local DTV thread over on avsforums.com (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?s=&threadid=232530&perpage=20&pagenumber=60) and have communicated with me regularly in confidence. I think you'll find the opinions, questions and frustrations of the general public highly valuable, although often nonsensical and under-informed."
Any plans for WEWB multicasting or an update on WEWB-TWC negotiations?

Any plans for WEWB multicasting or an update on WEWB-TWC negotiations? You'd think it would be an easy negotiation because of the Time Warner connection between the two channels. Although my girlfriend won't admit it, she'd love to see the Gilmore Girls in Hi-Def...
