Be advised that in TWCNY Division I'm getting reports of Tuning Adapters taking a firmware update that will allow simultaneous recording of 6 stream as per FCC requirements (must allow for at least 4). One user is reporting his Ceton Infinity 4 CableCard Media Center now only needs one Tuning Adapter to record 4 streams. So, check and see if you are getting Firmware Version 1402. If you have a Moxi 3 Tuner or other device and are currently using two TA's, you should be able to go to one.

btw, is anyone else having auth issues receiving 1753 CCHD? I receive a mesg this ch is not auth. Have never received it. Just realized today that I should be auth to receive. The guy on the phone hit it without success. Maybe I should hit their POS cablecard with a hammer...

Well, TWC just announced that they are going all digital within 5 years. That should bring about the end of SDV as the elimination of analog will free up enough bandwidth. Let's just hope that TWC does it the right way.

surprised they have an outlook of even existing in 5 years. I bet the 3 big cable cos build a mega monopoly within that time. There is no way they will be able to survive the competition from Verizon, att and dish. Although they are all screwed the day we can subscribe directly to each channels ip feeds via the web. Cut the middle man out, studios and networks make more $$ while us consumers pay less.
