The guys over at the AVS Forum have been compiled a master list of which cable and satellite providers are carrying which HD channel. You can view it at on their site. You get a nice grid of the channels, with columns for the usual suspects. I would have posted the list here, but they do not allow it with written permission.

You get a nice grid of the channels, with columns for the usual suspects. I would have posted the list here, but they do not allow it with written permission. That list has its issues too--- such as listing "NFL Sunday Ticket" and "MLB Extra Innings" as 1 HD channel when it's all of them, which with the Sports Pack is another 30+ full-time HD channels and one of THE main reasons someone chooses DIRECTV over another provider. Then of course the whole "does linear PPV count?" argument, which brings DIRECTV and Dish to almost 200 channels in their marketing
