This is a temporary situation, but if you are subscribing to FiOS TV in Bethlehem and use a TiVo with it, TiVo does not yet have the Albany FiOS TV listings for Bethlehem zip codes. As of 3/27/2011, Verizon had only provided TiVo with a subset of the zip codes covered by the FiOS TV availability. I called TiVo and they suggested using the zip code 12047. That zip code is in Cohoes, which I didn't think has FiOS, but it will work. Zip codes in Guilderland and Schenectady should also work. This should be a temporary situation, but you may need this if you get FiOS TV next week. TiVo provided me with this list: Zip Code | Location | 12047 | Cohoes | 12084 | Guilderland | 12205 | Albany | 12302-8 | Schenectady |

Chris, do you need a tuning adapter with Fios TV? I am having fios tv and internet installed where I am moving to at the end of this month. After months of issues with the tuning adapter from twc I am throwing in the towel and switching. Things have got so bad that I now must reboot the tuning adapter EVERY day in order to access channels. Really hopeful that fios doesn't require one and their cablecard is all I will need. Also, with fios internet can I still use my own wireless router? I know they provide one but I have mine all setup for port blocking and such so would rather not to have to set it all up again. Thanks!

No TA needed with FIOS, since FIOS does not use SDV.
