GSN HD Now Available In 6 States

Washington, D.C. (December 7, 2010) -- The Game Show Network HD has launched on Time Warner Cable systems in New York City and some Bright House Networks lineups across the nation, Multichannel News reports.
The publication says GSN HD is now available to 3.5 million subscribers.
In addition to being available in New York on Time Warner Cable, the high-def game show network is now on Bright House systems in Detroit, Birmingham, Alabama, Indianapolis, Tampa and Orlando.
Multichannel News reports that the Service Electric Cablevision Systems has also added the HD channel in Hazleton, Sunbury and Birdsboro, Penn.
GSN launched its high-def simulcast in September.
"We are pleased to see such strong interest right out of the gate for GSN HD and anticipate that we'll continue to see continued robust growth for the service in coming months," said Dennis Gillespie, senior vice president of distribution at GSN.
