TWC channel changes in November 2010

New Legal Notice posted on the Albany TWC website:

The following changes are scheduled to take place:

On or about November 10, 2010:

• Primetime OnDemand HD will be added to channel 1195

On or about November 15, 2010:

• YES Network will move from channel 67 to channel 52
  
• New York on Demand to be added to channel 1007
  
• Channel 1125 Cornerstone to be deleted
  
• WRNN, Kingston, NY, to be deleted on or around November 30, 2010 (except for Kinderhook)
  

On or about November 16, 2010:

• Showtime OnDemand HD will be added

The new services listed above cannot be accessed on CableCard-equipped Unidirectional Digital Cable Products purchased at retail without additional, two-way capable equipment.

Finally premium channels On Demand in HD! My parents have had these forever on Comcast. Hopefully we get HBO like this soon too.

According to a TWC tweet, Showtime on Demand HD was added to channel 739 in the Capital District:

11.24.2010– 11.24.2010–Time Warner Cable has added Showtime On Demand HD throughout the Northeast. Customers can now enjoy hours and hours of high-defintion movies and Showtime series, including Californication, Dexter, The Tudors, United States of Tara, Weeds and more, all whenever they want.

Showtime On Demand HD is available for viewing on the folloing channels (check local listings):

* Albany - 739
* Buffalo - 819 & 1762
* Central New York - 772 & 1762
* New England - 918 & 1762
* Rochester - 1095 & 1762

Yup, it's there. I took a look today - great for catching up on their original series, but the movie selection is pretty small. I hope we get more HD on demand. And still holding out a glimmer of hope for NFL Network...
