A few days ago Time warner cable in our area added several new channels (1332, 1333, and 1334) for 3D Programing. A 3D Television would be required, along with a hdmi 1.4 cable box. It seems they will be airing a few Yankees games in 3D from the YES Network in a few days.
My Opinion: The 3DTV Market is so small in our area right now that a very niche market at its current time. I honestly believe Time Warner Cable should spend more time caching up with it competitors in terms of HD channel lineup, and add the ever so needed viacom lineup of HD channels to our market. Nearby markets already have these channels available in there area. Whats the hold up? This is obviously Time Warner's ploy to compete with DirecTV's dedicated 3D channel, and I know somehow they are going to try to use this in the advertising to claim there better. Honestly I would like some more HD channels that actually have something we want to watch!
