If you've been upgraded to the Navigator software and had an eSATA external drive for expanded DVR storage, does it still work?

What combination of DVR box and eSATA drive do you have?

I have both a WD 500GB and 1TB My DVR Expander drive and both worked with our 8300HD boxes with SARA software. Now we have 8240HDCs with Navigator and while the boxes detect the drives, playback is pixelated and the sound cuts out.

"C" boxes are known to not play well with external drives. Non "C" boxes tend to work with the e-SATA drives. I'm anixous to get my hands on an 8640HDC and test it with external drives.

Until then, I'm clinging to my 8300HD because my 1TB drive is running flawlessly on it.
