I just ordered a 60" Aquos from Sears which should be arriving tomorrow, and decided it is finally time to venture away from built-in speakers. I don't need anything fancy, and don't want to pay for anything fancy. Just something that makes what you're watching stand out a little more.
I'm not a real big audio guy, and don't know a whole lot about what to look for, but after a quick search on Newegg, these seemed to be about what I wanted to pay, and both got good reviews:
