The Winter 2010 update is officially out (and slowly being deployed automatically) and since I know there are a couple DIRECTV users on here in case you didn't see what the new features are:
* Mutli-room Video (MRV) -- covered in another thread on here
* SmartSearch -- Google style, unified search interface www.directv.com/DTVAPP/global/article.jsp?assetId=P6620014
* Enhanced Guide Data -- "More Info" now provides show graphics, cast and crew, biographies, filmographies and clicking any data does a SmartSearch for that actor/show/movie, etc.
* Cinema "On Now" a new unified interface for all instant-watch on demand content for immediate viewing (PPV and ondemand)
