I doubt this is an Isolated problem, Im assuming it has todo with SDV crap that time warner does. It has nothing todo with USA Network itself, because when I had DirecTV it never did this.
Basically when im watching USA HD the audio will go out on my surround sound system for about 3 to 4 seconds, (my surround sound is playing it in Doubly Digital EX) its really random but it happens allot at night, Like for example if your watching Monday Night Raw on USA HD and say a wrestler comes out and they start playing the entrance music the audio will drop, and then it will restore when the entrance music turns off. Ive notice it happens at night allot on USA HD but during the day the day it doesn't happen as much.
Im assuming because Time warner shoves so many HD channels on its network without upgrading its network, it seems to happen when the Bitrate goes to high for time warner to handle and the channel will just lose audio. Ive notice the opposite effect on NBCHD (Channel 1813) it seems when the bitrate goes to high the HD Picture gets very pixelated and it barely looks like HD, but audio will stay intact.
What can I do about this? Is anyone else experiencing these problems cause it drives me crazy, the audio went out like a million times last night on USA HD, it makes the channel unwatchable!

Have them check the level of the signal coming into the house. They had to come and fix the outside wiring for me that last fall. That greatly reduced (but did not eliminate) the tiling that I was getting.

I watch USA very often, and I never have this problem on any other TV Shows that I watch...Burn Notice, White Collar, various other re-runs of Law & Order, etc...all of them are on during primetime and they are shown without any issues. No sound cutting out like you are describing it all.
However, 2 or 3 weeks ago, I tuned into WWE for the first time in years & noticed this problem. Sound cutting out, picture freezing for a quick second or two and it was really obnoxious. I thought it was just that program because all of my other shows are just fine in HD. I tuned in again last week & the same thing happened during WWE.
Could it be the way WWE is recorded or something? Because I don't see how it could happen on that one program on that channel and no other program. It's odd.
