Well, I'm a bit disappointed so far.
I don't have my Tivo set to show all the channels.
So far of channels I do have set, I only show: 4 20 200 and 201 as having 0x00
I only checked up to channels 403
I don't have channels 21-140 or 5-19 displayed.
It's been that way since Monday, so i'm not seeing much progress so far.
I hope they didn't stop.

I just checked my Family Room TiVoHD by looking at the recorded programs with TiVo Desktop.
I have 82 recordings, of which only 12 are available to transfer to my computer. All of these 12 are recordings from the 4 major networks that were previously set to 0x00.

I went through the channel list 2-50. I'll have to post the ones that I THINK changed. Ironically: 15, 16, 17 are 0x02 I think those are educational access (so much for CiC), Government access (for which I am being charged extra for because I live in the town of Colonie), and Public Access (so much for Glendora).

Well, since TW hasn't moved on their CCI Byte in the last two weeks, I guess I don't mind posting Gary's # now (he's the person who originally called me in regards to my email to them about the TA and SDV pixelation/reboot issues and said everything's fixed now).
Gary (don't know his last name) - 242-8816

Roy's name is Roy Greenquist (not sure how it's spelled). The only # I have is what showed up on the caller ID, so it may be a trunk line: 242-8929

Have you checked the channels? Has anything changed?
I don't understand...is the number 242-8816 or 242-8929?

Gary is the guy who called originally in response to my email about the SDV issues and CCI Byte issues. So his # is 242-8816. Roy Greenquist is the guy who called dealing specifically with just the CCI bytes (and, as I stated, I'm not sure if that's his # or just the trunk line that shows up on the caller ID).
I checked during the weekend and they have not added any other channels beyond the maybe 10-15 (I have the list written down somewhere here). For example, they DID set 4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, and 15, along with 20, 40, and 41 I believe to 0x00.
But that's it. Even 16,17,18 are still 0x02 and nothing's changed since then. I'm 99% sure that the 4-15 channels were not 0x02, but I am also 99% sure that 20, 40, and 41 (due to the digital simulcast issue WAY back when) are really mapped to analog and that's the only reason why they ARE 0x00.

Here's the channel list so far. I'm only going to list the ones that are 0x00
I've done channels 1-120, 140, 142, 200, 201, 210, 215, 221, 222, 235, 301, 310, 320, 325, 340, 345, 401 and 401
Of those only the following are 0x00 and were changed to 0x00 sometime between Friday and Monday of October 9-12. Nothing else has changed since then (coincidentally the same that that dlfl on the Tivo Community inquired to TW headquarters and things seem to have stopped since):
4, 6, 8, 10, 11, 13, 15, 20, 21, 22, 76, 77, 91, 200, and 201

Has anyone tried calling Roy at TWC to see what the current status is?

I'm afraid to, to be honest. Only because I'll probably hear a "you blabbed, so corporate said I have to reverse stuff" or something.

hurnik, do you have a contact#/ext for Roy? Is he tech support? I don't keep close track but I remember speaking to a Chris and a Jon who assisted with my tuning adapter, but never a Roy.
Decided not to keep my Tivo, but just ordered a ATI cablecard tuner for my HTPC so I am keeping the cablecard and tuning adapter. Once that arrives will have to call and have the id updated for the Ati and cablecard

I think I posted Roy's # (at least what showed up on my cell), but I didn't get an extension.
Roy's name is Roy Greenquist (not sure how it's spelled). The only # I have is what showed up on the caller ID, so it may be a trunk line: 242-8929

All the programs I recorded from non-local network broadcast stations are still set to 0x02 for me. For example...HGTV is 0x02, CBS is 0x00.
Wonder what happened to the cci byte rollback?

I've not gone through and re-verified. I know some were definitely changed to 0x00 but seems to have stopped after posting about it. Wonder if the headquarters called and reversed their decision.
