Make FREE phone calls via ipod Touch

Vonage announced that they have a FREE iphone app that will allow you to make phone calls via your ipod Touch. They seem to be marketing it towards low cost international calls, but you can make FREE domestic calls, too. For iphone users, the domestic calls are included in the ATT plan, but phone Touch users, this makes your Touch into a phone. Here's the FAQ from the Vonage website:

Where can I get a headphone with microphone?
You must have a Generation 2 iPod touch to use Vonage Mobile service. You should get a headset from the Apple store or use other Apple recommended compatible headsets

Why would I use Vonage Mobile?

Does it really cost the same amount to make calls wherever I am in the world?

I like the sound of this but it must be complicated. How easy is it to install Vonage Mobile?
Very easy!

You will need to go to the Apple Application store from your device or the iTunes store to download Vonage Mobile. When you go to the iTunes application store, you will need to download to your iPod touch by synchronizing your device with your iTunes.

I don't have an iPod touch. Is there another way I can use Vonage Mobile to make low cost international calls?
Vonage Mobile is available for iPhone and Blackberry® phones.

The reply from Vonage Customer Support when I asked what is displayed on the Caller ID of a person receiving a call from an iPod Touch via Vonage Mobile:

Since the iPod touch is not an actual phone, there is a generic phone number that gets created when the app is active. The person you are calling may see a strange number that will most likely have a name of Unknown, Unavailable or something else. This populated name field depends upon the provider of the person you call and how they populate names for numbers they cannot lookup. That is what makes the iPod touch different then the iPhone or Blackberry which will use the associated mobile number and can in return get Inbound calls back to your regular mobile provider.
