2009 Thanksgiving Day Giants-Broncos game on NFL Network
Game available in Albany area only via satellite

Those of us who don’t have a dish will once again be denied viewing of several regular season NFL games. Here’s the list of games to be shown on NFL Network this year and won’t be available to cable subscribers:

Nov 12: Bears @ 49ers
Nov 19: Dolphins @ Panthers
Nov 26: Giants @ Broncos
Dec 3: Jets @ Bills
Dec 10: Steelers @ Browns
Dec 17: Colts @ Jaguars
Dec 19: Cowbays @ Saints
Dec 25: Chargers @ Titans

Of special interest to us in the Albany area: the Giants game Nov 26 (Thanksgiving Day) and the Jets-Bills game Dec 3rd WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE TO ALBANY TIME WARNER CABLE SUBSCRIBERS.

The phone number for Albany Time Warner is 869-5500. Start the calls early. Maybe a TU article about this now will start the movement to get the Thanksgiving Day Giants game shown somehow to cable subscribers…?

I posted similar comments on Pete Dougherty's TU blog today. Maybe he will pick up the issue and start pestering Albany TWC.
