At lunch, all of a sudden, EVERY SDV channel (and only the SDV channels) turned all pixellated or dropped out (gray screen on Tivo and then it tells you it can't tune the channel).
I unplugged the TA (power) and plugged it back in, waited the 10 minutes or so for it to boot up and they all came back fine.
Now, tonight, several SDV channels are untunable (gray screen "cannot tune" on Tivo).
Anyone else?
This is my second TA. They replaced the first one because it wasn't getting updates properly.

Sorry, I only watched the Yankee game last night. YES HD is not a SDV channel.

There's a TW truck (been out for hours) across the street, so perhaps they're having problems with some equipment again.

Not sure if anyone else is experiencing problems with SDV channels? I started having some problems on Friday night. I live in Berkshire County. Anyway, I'm getting "channel not available" on a number of channels including low numbered channels that I thought were not SDV. I re-booted the box twice which did nothing to correct the problem. I called TWC and they told me that they are experiencing SDV problems throughout the Albany system. They also told me that they had techs from the cable box manufacturer also on-site working the issue. They really don't know what the problem is.

Are you using a TW box vs. a Tivo with the Tuning Adapter? if so, then it makes me feel marginally better that it's happening system-wide vs. just us Tivo owners. But it's highly annoying, IMO.

I've got two Scientific Atlanta boxes from TWC. They are both experiencing problems. I've lost about half of the HD channels and even some of the lower channels that are broadcast in analog. They told me that when you have one of the set top boxes that every channel is received in SDV. The tech I talked to also said that my signal level that he could see on my box was very good. That leads me to believe that they have a problem with SDV thoughout the Albany system that they can't figure out how to fix. I had this problem last year in October and they couldn't figure out what was wrong. It only impacted a few channels then and it went away in a couple of weeks. The problem is much more widespread now. I'm not able to receive some of the channels that I am paying for on the HD tier. I think I will call TWC and ask them if they are going to give me credit for the channels I'm paying for that I am not able to receive???

They told me that when you have one of the set top boxes that every channel is received in SDV. That's almost correct. When you have a STB and you tune to an analog channel the box selects a digital simulcast, which may be broadcast or may be SDV. I have had issues with SDV channels over the last few weeks also, mostly overnight.
