Dish Network has lifted its high-definition national network lineup past the 140 mark with the addition of five new enhanced channels.
FX HD and Speed HD are now part of Dish Network's Classic Silver 200 HD programming package, starting as $22.99 per month for six months. The offering also comes with free installation, a free HD DVR and three months of free premium channels, including HBO and Showtime services.
FTV (Fashion) HD, Logo and MavTV HD are now available to subscribers on the No.2 DBS provider's PlatinumHD package, an add-on offering that costs another $10 monthly.
Dish also announced that it will add MSNBC HD in June.
"No one has more HD than Dish Network," said Dish senior vice president of programming Dave Shull in a statement. "We're delivering the best HD service, and when you add our DVR technology with our affordable pricing, Dish Network is the only choice for consumers looking for the ultimate HD experience."
In addition, Dish said it is now positioning the 24-hour feed of The N on channel 181.
