I heard HD Net going off the air this week from all time Warner Cable channel lineup?

It's one of those oh-so-familiar contract disputes between Time Warner and it seems like every channel on Earth.
We should be used to this by now.

According to this, if an agreement isn't reached, TW-NYC plans to replace the HDNets with Smithsonian-HD and MavTV-HD (a SpikeTV clone) "on or about" tomorrow (3/31). If that happens here, I'll drop the HD Tier. Since Mojo went off the air, HD Net and HD Net Movies are the only worthwhile channels on the tier. Universal-HD is worthless, MGM-HD doesn't have any good movies and these two new channels don't interest me. |
