We have basic cable (no box) from TW (Saratoga), a Sony TV with a NTSC/ATSC/QAM receiver. We also have an outdoor antenna to the TV and we have a WinTV-HVR-950Q computer card setup for QAM recording via cable as well as a KWorld card for OTA HDTV.
At some point we were getting all the major broadcasts in HD via clear QAM. For the past few weeks we have been unable to get 18.6 and 18.11 but we still get 18.8, 18.10, 18.13 as well as some others. I've rescanned both cable and antenna and still don't receive CBS and PBS via QAM. The situation is the same for the TV and WinTV box.
I've noticed that PBS (WMHT) seems to be coming in on the TV at 34.x with the antenna and we receive CBS at 6.1 and all the other local HD and sub-channels with the KWorld tuner. The media guide for the recording software for the KWorld tuner just for OTA HD doesn't show 34.x. I've also noticed that Vermont Public TV has dropped their analog broadcast.
Since VPT dropped analog TV transmission and I don't find any 34.x via our OTA HD tuner card, I was wondering if there might have been some changes with the local CBS and PBS that is causing the “No Signal” message on the channels where we were receiving WRGB and WMHT?
TIA,
Wayne

Just following up on the OP!
TW came out this AM and ran a new cable from the pole to our home; so all is well in Wayne's world again.
