Okay, this is the 2nd time this has happened to me.
Last night, power went out for about 1.5 hours (National Grid, gotta love 'em).
Anyway, power comes back on, all is well.
This morning, TivoHD says it cannot find a signal for any channels (except the SDV ones). It literally shows no signal at all for say, channel 9, etc.
Yet, the TA has a normal power light, and all the other TV and Tivos have signal.
So I unplug the power to the TA. All of a sudden all the channels come back in (except the SDV ones). Channel 9 starts up and I see news.
I plug the power back into the TA. A minute or so later, all the non-SDV channels go out again.
WTH?

How about unplugging the USB cable from the rear of the TiVo and re-inserting it?

That does the same thing. Unplug the USB, get the message that TA has been disconnected, then all of a sudden all the channels (EXCEPT the SDV) come in. Plug the USB back in and all the non-SDV channels go away.
What's weird, is that I unplugged the power to the TA, waited about 30 seconds, plugged the power back in and it didn't go through it's usual 10 minute boot cycle. It was steady light in under a minute.
I ended up rebooting the Tivo. No effect. Unplugging the USB cable No effect Unplugging the power from the TA again. Waited a few minutes. Plugged it back in, this time it took its usual 5-10 minutes to bootup and then it magically worked.
What's interesting is that when it wasn't working right, the Tivo would display a message something like (I should've taken a picture):
Tuning Adapter does not have channel list for this channel
or something like that.
Yet, all the other would report NO SIGNAL at all.
There's definitely something screwy going on when the thing works in "reverse".

Did you check the "Sub expires" date in TiVo's tuning adapter diagnostic menu?
Here's my previous post from the original TA thread:
I suggest you look in TiVo's tuning adapter menu to see what it has listed for "Sub Expires". If the date is earlier than today (0319), then call TWC and ask for the Cable Card Queue.

I will check that next time. However, that shouldn't affect NON-SDV channels, IMO. (Plus the light was steady, not blinking).
