I tried it out this morning at about 11:00 AM. It was so slow that it was almost unusable.
However, I did check on tivocommunity.com and they had the same problem early yesterday morning and were able to solve it by changing something on their servers.
Other than that, I like it.

I tried it this morning and it does looks really nice. The new search fully utilizes the extra resolution of the HD display. It was pretty slow and appeared to freeze when I tried to create a WishList search from a selection. After a few minutes, I cancelled the search and was able to go back to the main menu. I sent in a bug report, it would be great if they can fix the performance issues.
I'm not sure how much of performance issues can be addressed, it is doing look ups to see if any upcoming shows will match your search criteria. If the TiVo is processing the search, then the searching wont get much faster. If they are doing the searches via a web service, then it should get much faster as they can scale their search servers with faster hardware and more efficient code.
