The following information is posted on the Albany TWC website: All of these channels were posted supposed to be added on December 30, 2008, however not a single channel from this list has been added as of January 2, 2009.

I'm surprised they have as much interest in those channels to warrant their addition. (They mostly seem to be spanish language). Of course, my father would probably be interested in the sportsmen channel.
But then again, if they can add QVC or something I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.

My Tivo HD has the new channels listings but I can't tuned them in. Looks like they are all SDV.

Still not in the Guide on 8300HD as of 10:20 AM on 01/04.
All except 1878 in the Guide on Tivo S3, none show any picture or sound when you try to select them.

Since TiVo gets it guide data from Tribune, somehow Tribune must have received the same notice that is posted on the Albany TWC website and added the channels to the guide data on December 30, 2008 for Albany, NY TWC.

It's now two weeks since the December 30th date has passed and we still don't have the HD channels promised in the Programming Notices posted on Albany TWC's website.

Hi Everyone,
Figured I would put my two cents in here since I am just as frustrated as everyone here is about Time Warner not delivering as advertised.
Last week, I received a booklet, "SAVE BIG AND HAVE IT ALL" in the mail. Looking at the channel lineup in this pamphlet, the channels that were supposed to be added December 30 were listed clear as day.
Upon speaking with Time Warner's customer service, I was told that the fine print was "Channel lineup effective 2/17/09" and that the channels should be added by then. Right now, I guess the contracts are still in the works.
I spend a majority of my time at the Time Warner Albany site, requesting new channels almost daily from the Programming menu. I usually request 60 or so at a time or until I get dizzy. Yes, I realize that this is a clear illustration of not having a life, but if Time Warner is going to raise rates in February we might as well have as many HD channels as possible.
Obviously, I encourage everyone else to do the same.

I saw that post, but the automated response that I received after requesting that channel stated that TWC has no plans on adding that channel. Must be a canned message that goes out for each request.

Looks like Time Warner has redesigned its website and I can no longer find the legal notices anywhere.
Maybe they took them down because they were sick of having egg on their face?

I found the new link to the legal notices - mouseover Support, click Digital Cable from that menu, then on the DC page, under Featured Resources click Channel Change Notices. Here's the actual link. And they have a new PDF up (dated 2/16), but there's not really anything new on it for HD, other than Tennis HD will be moving, with MLB HD taking its spot (no dates, though). Here's the relevant part: [/size] They're also making changes to Music Choice and the on demands (adding Starz OD on 3/20, if you can believe any dates). PDF with full listing
