Any way to get digital without STB?

Hey everyone, I have an 8300HD STB in my living room and subscribe to digital cable, HD and the HD Tier.

I just bought a TV Tuner card for my computer that can receive all of those signals. My question is this: is there any way to get those channels to work with that card other than getting another STB? That would cost me another 5 dollars a month and I already subscribe to all channels, I just want to get it in the next room!

If your tuner card does clear QAM it should get the channels TWC doesn't encrypt (local broadcasts and a very few others). Otherwise you need to rent either an STB or CableCARD from TWC, and for the latter you need a device that accepts it.

Or you can feed whatever the STB is tuned to to the other room as NTSC (RF or baseband A/V). Not in HD, of course.
