PBS HD presents a two-hour special about the Adirondack Park, which, at six million acres, is the largest park in the lower 48 states. It is also the only one on the continent in which large human populations live and whose land is divided almost evenly between protected wilderness and privately owned tracts.
"The Adirondacks" is on PBS HD (channel 1811) at 9 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14.

This was pretty interesting. I managed to catch about an hour of it by accident. The 90 Mile canoe race was something.
