Poll: Do you own a HD DVD or Blu-Ray player?

A few questions to all of the AlbanyHDTV Forum members:

Do you own a high definition DVD player?

If so, what format...Blu-Ray or HD DVD?

If you do own a player, please post where you get your movies from. Rental? (Netflix, Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, etc.?) Purchase? (Walmart, Best Buy, Circuit City, etc?)

I have a PS3 and a toshiba HD-DVD player.

I rent from Netflix, and got a few discs for Christmas.

I now have both. Got a PS3 for Christmas.

The only complaint I have about the PS3 is that the fan kicks up to ultra loud after about 1.5 hours so it tends to overshadow the movie if the movie volume has a "low point".

I have a PS3 and rent from netflix. Keep your AV/home theater cabinet open when the PS3 is running to avoid having the fan kick on. It needs good ventilation to avoid overheating.

I have a 80g PS3 and a RCA dvd player with HDMI outputs that has an upscaler for regular dvd. I use Nyko's Intercooler to keep the PS3 cool, and I used to buy blue-rays at Walmart, I hated it because I had to pay for them in electronics wait for a worker to open the locked case and no selection, so now I buy them at Target where the movies are in open shelves with a nice big selection.

I have 4 HD-DVD players. Love them and am heartbroken that they are no longer being supported. I wish the studios had all supported both formats equally and let the consumer choose to make it a fair fight. Oh well.

I own a Sony PS3 20GB and a Panasonic BD30. I rent from Netflix and purchase from Amazon as I'am a Prime Member and receive 2 day free shipping. I also buy from Walmart & Best Buy when they have sales.
