Hello all,
I'm trying to get a head count on who might be interested in having me
calibrate their display on my upcoming Connecticut/Albany ISF
Calibration Tour. The tour could take place as early as late February.
Space will be limited so I'll need to know ASAP who's interested.
A few major changes have taken place over the last year. For one, I'm
now utilizing the legendary Photo Research PR-650 SpectroRadiometer
which is literally the reference tool by which all other analyzers are
judged up against. The 650 is incredibly accurate ensuring that the
display in question will be adjusted at a level of precision rarely
found in ISF calibrations. I'm now also using the Sencore VP403
Multi-Scan Video Generator along with Digital Video Essentials PRO DVDs
which both offer the most advanced test patterns currently available.
Together with the PR-650, VP-403 and DVE, your display will be set-up
to the most exacting system standards attainable.
Secondly, I'm now writing a monthly article for American Wired called
"The Viewing Angle" which will be dedicated to display device
calibration and associated equipment which some of you may find
interesting. Here's the link to the current issue.
americanwired.com/video/theviewingangle.htmlI look forward to meeting you all and getting the opportunity to show
you how great your displays are capable of delivering high quality
video!
