I bought an LG LST-3510a on closeout at Best Buy to replace my Sylvania tuner. The DVD player included in the unit is a bonus. I am currently able to receive DTV channels 26 (10-1), 12 (31-1), 34 (17-1), and 36 (19-1) on the Sylvania. When I connect the LG, I only receive channels 12 and 36. Channel 26 does not show up in the channel scan and I can't edit it in either. I show a "90" out of 100 signal strength on the Sylvania, but cannot receive it on the LG. Is there some setting that I am missing??

Could this be a VHF / UHF issue?

Since Hootster413 is getting 12 (VHS) and 36 (UHF), it seems this is NOT an issue with VHF and UHF. It is more likely that there is something non-standard in WTEN's data stream that is causing the LG unit to reject the signal. Or it could be some weird issue with the LG model itself. Perhaps it's a defective STB. Maybe it was on closeout becasue too many people experienced problems with it.

MasterFX1,
You might be right about something with the data stream. I have since moved my UHF antenna (8 bay CM) and I now receive consistently 6-1, 10-1, 13-1, 17-1, 19-1 (and subs) and occasionally 45-1 all OTA. I don't seem to receive PSIP data for 10-1 consistently. I receive the same programming on 19-1 which I am only about 3 to 4 miles from the transmitter. I am about 55 miles from the DTV tower that all the other stations transmit from. I haven't reconnected the LG since moving the antenna so I don't know if anything has changed. Thanks again for your insight.
