Yankees vs. Blue Jays on Friday 9/29/06

The game was carried on Fox23 locally in SD, but the HD feed was also on the YES channel.

There were no commercials on the YES channel for this game and you actually got to see what happened on the field between innings....warmups, grounds crew doing "Y-M-C-A", etc.

Hope this will be a routine way of showing the Friday games next year. The SD version is just pitiful on Fox23.

I noticed this too, it was great. The best part was they had the entire pregame, but starting before the actual pregame went live so you got to see Michael Kay picking his teeth, Al Leiter adjusting his clothes, etc. It was some funny stuff ... I still have it recorded!

I wish I caught that. I hate watching those Friday games on FOX23 along with Saturday games on FOX which are just 480p widescreen.
