How to tell which Yankees games are in HD...

This year, YES is doing many away games in HD actually. The full schedule, which indications as to which are in HD on YES are available here:

As for FOX's HD games, only the "Saturday Game of the Week" is usually in HD, that is whatever national game is their "feature" that day. This is during their blackout window, and in the past WXXA has carried those in HD. So only those days when the Yankees are the game of the week would there be a chance of them being in HD, and if it's not during the blackout window you usually either get ANOTHER game (since the Yankees will be blacked out), or no game at all since it'll be on "My 9" in NYC, and WXXAs feed of it will never be in HD in our lifetimes, I'm sure--I'm thinking UPN-HD OTA in NYC is the only way to get those... matter of fact, as of late those games have only ever been on TWC channel 3 in analog with no commercials (the raw feed).

It's nice to see YES adding more away games in HD. Maybe next season they will offer all games in HD like NESN did this year with the Red Sox.

Monday's game vs. the Phillies was on YES HD. The new Phillies' stadium looked awesome in HD.

Tuesday night's game was in SD on Fox23. What a crappy picture! Why can't Fox23 pass the HD signal through? There were HD highlights on ESPN's Baseball Tonight program.

Again, tonight's Yankees vs. Phillies game is on Yes HD. Great HD picture.

Watching the crappy SD picture makes you realize how great HD is.

I can't agree more with you Skaggs, that Fox 23 picture is so terrible, all my other SD channels look like HD compared to that one.

The entire upcoming 6 game road trip will be in HD August 4-10.
