The Chief Engineer at WXXA (Albany, NY affiliate of FOX) has informed me that Saturday's Yankees vs. Redsox game will be:
"...shot in SD and up-converted to 720P..."
At least this will result in a widescreen picture.
I have been spoiled by the YES Network's last 4 games shown in HD. These games were AWAY games for the Yankees. Previously, it was thought only the Yankee's home games and Red Sox away games will be HD on Yes HD.
So, for the final 3 games of the regular season, only Sunday's game will be seen in HD via YES HD. Friday's game will be shown locally on WXXA (FOX) in SD, and Saturday's game will be shown in up-converted SD widescreen.

Audio is 2 seconds behind the video on TWC channel 1808 at the start of the game & during pregame.
I called WXXA. They said they are having problems with the network feed.

Right after I got off the phone and posted the above message, the audio went silent for about 10 seconds and now the audio is in sync with the video.

Yankees are AL East Champs for the 8th year in a row. Very sweet! My friends and I loved seeing A-Rod & Jeter celebrate on the field at Fenway. Regarding the last 4 games that YES showed in HD, do you think that next season we will get road games from YES in HD? I know Boston's NESN only showed home games in HD their first year but now show away games also in HD.
