HDNET'S EXCLUSIVE HIGH-DEF SHUTTLE COVERAGE CONTINUES WITH LIVE LANDING AUGUST 8
WHAT: HDNet continues its exclusive high-definition television (HDTV) coverage of the most-watched NASA Shuttle flight in history with the highly-anticipated STS-114 landing at Kennedy Space Center scheduled for 4:46 a.m. EDT Monday, August 8.
As with HDNet's coverage of the launch, viewers will watch the landing live in high-definition clarity courtesy of HDNet's 1080i HD cameras and equipment, accompanied by natural sounds and NASA's own commentary direct from mission control.
HDNet is also using its exclusive HD video footage to produce other special prime-time reports, one highlighting the landing to air August 9, and an hour-long documentary to air August 16.
The company also announced earlier today that it is offering free downloads of a 20-minute high-definition video with highlights from launch day coverage.
