FOX-TV American Idol Now In High Definition
FOX’s eight-time Emmy-nominated American Idol, the nation’s most watched television program, is capturing all its electronic news features in a new 720p high definition video format, thanks to Panasonic’s VariCam HD Cinema cameras.
i-Newswire, 2005-03-14 - FOX, now committed to a full slate of HD productions, has been using the VariCam cameras since August 2004. According to Idol producer Simon Lythgoe, "This season, Idol looks to me like a feature film with surround sound, for which we credit the VariCam.”
