Television Coverage of "Inauguration 2005" to Be Broadcast in High Definition
ABC News will broadcast comprehensive coverage of the Presidential Inauguration on Thursday, January 20 across all platforms - the ABC Television Network, ABC News Now, ABC Radio and ABCNEWS.com. ABC's live coverage of "Inauguration 2005" will be broadcast in High Definition, the first time a Presidential Inauguration is broadcast in HDTV.
Coverage on the television network will begin at 7:00 a.m., ET, with a special three-hour edition of "Good Morning America" anchored by Charles Gibson and Diane Sawyer from Washington, DC. This special edition of GMA will be broadcast in High Definition, making it the first network news program broadcast in HDTV.
