The 2004 Kentucky Derby will be shown in HD by NBC, as will all of the three Triple Crown races. For us here in the Albany, NY area, that means you must have an OTA receiver and an antenna to receive the HD version from WNYT in 1080i. The NBC coverage starts at 5PM on Saturday, May 1st.
If TWC ever hammers out an agreement with WNYT to carry WNYT-DT, these type events can be enjoyed in HD by those of us who subscribe to TWC.
