I was very dissapointed that after FOXHD ch 88 and 89 showed up on my program guide for the LCS's that I didn't get them. Has anyone in the CD actually received them? I read about this on other forums and there seems to be many variables that determine if you get them or not so I was just curious if any around here did.. I know there are things like waivers and other stuff involved but as a hopeful effort I will be contacting D* to see what's up.

Contacted D* CS yesterday to no avail. Very friendly but didn't know much about situation, eventually told me I needed a waiver that could take up to a month to activate. Anyone know anything about a temporary waiver or something?? Who to contact at WXXA? It's just so frustrating to know the broadcast is there but because of commercial rights can't get it....

Well, contacted WXXA and got this response...
"Copyright laws now prevent us from providing waivers of any kind. I am sorry that I cannot help you. We provide our HD signal to Time Warner Cable as we are not yet broadcasting in HD, but hope to be in time for the Superbowl."
Appreciate the timely response even though not to my liking....
