Sent to HDnet in response to recent poor video via Albany TWC. See this thread for more info. -----Original Message----- From: Mark Pyskadlo [mailto:mpyskadlo@albanyhdtv.com] Sent: Friday, February 03, 2006 5:43 PM To: 'ghoof@hd.net' Subject: Albany Time Warner Cable quality issues Dear HDnet: I watched the movie Bubble last Friday night. Unfortunately, it had numerous instances when the picture froze and there was no audio for 5 +/- seconds. This happened at random intervals throughout the entire movie. Also, I noticed this same audio & video freeze occur during many other HDnet movies this past week. I called Albany TWC (518-869-5500), but the unknowledgeable customer service reps will not forward my comments to their engineering department and will only offer to send a tech out to my house. This is not a subscriber problem, as many other people in my area are experiencing the same issues. This is a transmission and/or delivery issue. Please read the comments in the HDTV Channel Lineup portion of the www.albanyhdtv.com forum. I am the owner/webmaster of this website. Thank you in advance for reviewing my concerns. Sincerely, Mark Pyskadlo
