WNYT-DT is WNYT's digital channel which has been on the air since October 18th 2003. We transmit two program streams: 13-1 is the high Definition program feed on which we pass through any and all true HD programming from NBC. 13-2 is currently a simulcast of our regular channel 13.
The digital transmitter is on VHF channel 12, and a digital over the air receiver is required in order to receive that channel. If you are a Time Warner cable susscriber, you will need the digital HD box from Time Warner. WNYT-DT will be on Time Warner in time for the Summer Olympics. NBC will be providing special HD programming during the olympics.
