Preregister to get your HD DVR
The high-definition DVRs are coming soon! You'll be able to record your favorite programs in HD and replay them, all with VCR-like controls of pause, fast-forward, rewind and play.
When you complete our quick preregistration form, we'll contact you when our shipment comes in.
The DVR is $9.95 per month if you have digital cable and just $4.95 per month if you have digital cable and a premium channel, such as HBO.
HDNet and HDNet movies added to lineup
HDNet (channel 1867) is the first all high-definition national television network. HDNet features a variety of HDTV programming, including live sports, sitcoms, dramas, action series, documentaries, travel programs, music concerts and shows, special events, and news features including the popular "HDNet World Report" -- all in spectacular HDTV.
HDNet Movies (channel 1868) delivers a commercial-free schedule of full-length feature films converted from 35mm to high-definition, including titles from an extensive library of films. HDNet Movies will feature a mix of theatrical releases, made-for-TV movies, independent films and shorts.
Both channels are offered in a free preview through March 31; after that, both channels are offered at a package price of $3.95 per month.

Discovery HD miniseries focuses on the Arctic
Discovery HD Theater is thrilled to announce the premiere of its exclusive miniseries, "Arctic Mission," with never-before-seen footage of the great Northwest Passage.
Telecast for five consecutive Tuesdays starting Feb. 24 at 9 p.m., "Arctic Mission" will take your viewers through the legendary Northwest Passage aboard the ship Sena IV, to explore this fragile yet breathtaking environment.
Dedicated to uncovering the mystery, history and beauty of the Arctic, "Arctic Mission" will blend a unique style of nature documentary production with first-hand accounts from the filmmakers on their experiences in the wilds of the arctic waters. Many of the visuals, such as a sub-zero jellyfish dive, an intimate look at an Inuit whaling party and the plight of a mother polar bear and her cub as they search for meals between expanding pack ice, will be firsts for HD viewers.
