Time Warner NYC to Add 2 HD Sports Channels
The new channels will be available in the New York City area.

By Phillip Swann, tvpredictions.com Time Warner Cable tomorrow will add two High-Definition sports channels in the New York area, TVPredictions.com has learned.
FSN NY HD will be added as a fulltime channel in Staten Island while WWOR HD will be added to systems in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Mt Vernon, Hudson Valley and Bergen County, New Jersey.
FSN NY HD airs the New York Islanders and New Jersey Devils. WWOR, channel 9 in the New York area, carries some New York Yankee games and MyNetwork TV programs such as American Heiress in high-def
Time Warner Cable last year added SportsNet NY HD, YES HD and MSG HD to its high-def sports lineup.
SportsNet NY, a regional sports channel, will broadcast approximately 125 Mets' games this season, many of them in high-def.
YES HD will broadcast New York Yankee games in high-def.
Time Warner spokeswoman Harriet Novet tells TVPredictions.com that the cable operator will also add MHD, the MTV-owned high-def music channel, and A&E HD in Staten Island tomorrow.
