YES HD Joins FiOS TV's Roster

The YES HD Network has been penciled into the Verizon FiOS TV’s New York lineup, signing a multi-year carriage agreement with the telco that includes high-definition simulcasts of New York Yankees and New Jersey Nets games.
FiOS TV is currently available in village of Massapequa Park on Long Island and the Rockland County villages of Nyack, South Nyack and Upper Nyack. Verizon has also secured video carriage agreements in the Long Island communities of Cedarhurst and Oyster Bay, putting it in direct competition with incumbent carrier Cablevision.
Beginning tomorrow, YES Net will be available on FiOS TV’s Premier package, a basic slate of 180 channels that prices out at $39.95 per month.
