Free preview of Showtime later this month

Showtime and The Movie Channel are offering a free preview March 31 through April 3.

During this time you'll have access to 20 premium movie channels on Showtime and The Movie Channel (channels 741 through 764) plus Flix (ch. 794), Showtime On Demand (ch. 740) and The Movie Channel On Demand (ch. 760). And if you have a high-definition television and a Time Warner Cable HD converter box, you'll also get Showtime HD on channel 1885.

In addition to quality movies, Showtime programming includes "Penn & Teller", "Liza with a 'Z'", "Hotel Rwanda" and the second season of "Huff", starring Hank Azaria.

I tuned to channel 1881 and it still had the "Not Subscribed To This Channel" banner. I switched over to 741 and it also had the "Not Subscribed To This Channel" banner.

So, I called TWC and the CSR told me the free preview starts at midnight tonight (March 31st).

Tried to tune in Showtime on channel 1885 and got the "Not Authorized" banner this morning.

So, I called TWC (again) and spoke to Vincent, who agreed with me that I was supposed to start receiving it yesterday (March 31st, after I directed him to the website stating such.

Vincent said he would give me Showtime free for 3 months since I didn't receive it yesterday. ;D

Maybe the start time of the Showtime preview got mixed up with the new SARA software download that occurred yesterday?

I got all excited because I saw TW gave you 3 months of Showtime when Skaggs called and complained. I called and they only gave me the rest of the weekend .

Nope, I checked for Showtime at 12:30 last night because of your earlier post and there was nothing. The I checked this morning around 8:30 and nothing. The same thing happened to my father. He called TW and they activated Showtime and TMC for him too. What a joke this preview is!
