Free preview of NBC Universal HD
NBC Universal HD is the newest high-definition channel in the 1800 block of Time Warner Cable channels, and we're offering a free preview of the channel this month. Tune to channel 1860 to check it out. Starting Feb. 1, NBC Universal HD will be part of the HD Tier.
The lineup includes movies, sports and series like "Law & Order: SVU", "Monk", "Battlestar Galactica", "The District", "The Equalizer", "Knight Rider" and "Quantum Leap". The channel has highlights from the 2004 Summer Olympic Games and the 2005 U.S. Open tennis championships and will have programming from next month's Winter Olympic Games in Italy.
HD Net free preview
In addition to NBC Universal HD, two more networks have free previews. HD Net and HD Net Movies, both part of the HD Tier, are available to all customers with an HDTV and a Time Warner Cable HD converter from Jan. 18 to Jan. 31.
During this two-week free preview, you can watch U2 in concert from Chicago on Sunday, Jan. 29, plus see other series, specials and movies.
February highlights ... plus win an HDTV
Catch the finest action in sports on high definition next month.
ABC has Super Bowl XL, which means HDTV customers with a Time Warner Cable HD converter can watch the Feb. 5 game in HD glory on channel 1810.
And NBC has the Olympic Winter Games from Italy, Feb. 10-26. You can watch HD programming on channels 1813 (WNYT-HD) and 1860 (NBC Universal HD).

All of our high-def channels are in the 1800s, including all of the local affiliates, TNT, Discovery, MSG (in New York) and NESN (in Massachusetts). If you also subscribe to HBO or Showtime, you can watch those HD channels on 1870 and 1875.
